Story:Shankar returns from abroad to discover that his father Jagat Narayan has assumed the role of a Godman and is robbing the gullible people, performing petty tricks as miracles. In the name of religion every crime is being perpetrated.

Shankar rebels against his father and demands that the wealth of the Ashram be spent on the people. He is disowned by his father.

To end the reign of superstition and to dethrone his father, he hires the services of a renowned magician, Goga, and brings him to Dharampur.
