The Film Chingaari is a tale of a rebellion against the tyranny of a powerful temple priest played by Mithun Chakraborty. He is a sadist who terrorizes villagers in the name of religion. Sushmita Sen is a prostitute working in Ila Arun’s brothel. Mithun is attracted towards Sushmita and often comes to visit her.

Anuj Saawhney comes to the village as a postman, and develops a soft corner for Sushmita. The turning point in her life comes when Basanti experiences love and respect from Chandan. But she is not even allowed to dream of a relationship with him.

Will Basanti be able to get her love? Or will Bhuwan Pandan again miss use his powers to stop Baanti.
