Based on a true story, BUDDY is about an English socialite, Gertrude Lintz (Russo) and her husband (Coltrane) who live in their Long Island mansion with an incredible menagerie of animals.

Amongst them is an infant gorilla which she raised like a human baby. But as the gorilla enters adulthood, it becomes increasingly uncontrollable, so much so that it actually threatens the lives of the humans.
