Dayal Nihalani’s Gambler is the story of a timid police officer, Govinda, who learns after a blood test that he has only a short time to live. He is shattered to learn that his days are numbered and breaks up with his sweetheart Shilpa Shetty for this reason.

But the news also makes him fearless and as he takes on the villains with his new-found courage, he becomes a national hero. Later he learns that his colleague Aditya Panscholi had switched the test tubes at the time of the blood test.

Now he faces his most difficult task yet… The comedy features Stop that, the foot-tapping Indianised version of Apache India’s hit song Chok there.
