Sarah Nolan (Golden Globe and Oscar nominee Lane, Fierce People, Under The Tuscan Sun) is a newly divorced preschool teacher in her thirties and her family has made it their pet project to find her a boyfriend.

As part of the plan, her sister enrolls her in an on-line dating service, including the description of “must love dogs” as one of the criteria. Sarah does love dogs but doesn’t own one, so in order to meet self confessed dog lover, Jake Anderson (Golden Globe nominee Cusack, Cosmic Banditos, Ice Harvest: Alternate Endings) at the dog park, she borrows her brother’s dog. But, as it turns out, Jake’s dog is on loan too. Could true love wag its tail for these two?
