TV actor and Indian Idol show anchor Aman Verma has been added in Sony’s popular serial ‘Ek Ladki Anjani Si’.

A popular magazines publisher, Nikhil (Shakti Anand) is looking for a detective to help solve Anu’s mysterious pregnancy. He meets his college friend Surya Pratap Yadav (Aman Verma). Surya will help Nikhil in search for the girl who is carrying his surrogate child.

Ek Ladki Anjaani Si is a love story of a 18 year old girl Anu Sachdev who is pregnant with a publisher Nikhil Sawant child due to some mistake in medical procedure done by a reputed hospital. Right now this ambitious college going girl is in a big dilemma! The whole world is against her for no mistake on her part. The unborn baby’s father, Nikhil is trying to find the truth.

In the coming episodes we will see a trap laid by Anu’s college Principal Prof. Mehta whose sole purpose to bring her back to college is to expel her on the charge of framing her in stealing some exam papers. He was forced by Anu’s mom, Meera as she has warned him of court proceedings if they didn’t bring Anu back. It is said that Anu will be expelled form the college and she will have to look for a job in Nikhil Sawant’s office.

The serial is the hindi adaptation of Juana La Virgen, a successful Venezuelan show which has rated highly in many countries.
