Shaadi No 1 tells the story of three couples: Raj /Bhavana (Fardeen & Ayesha), Veer /Diya (Zayed & Esha) and Aryan /Sonia (Sharman & Soha).

The husbands feel that their wives don’t respect them enough since they are worthless. They even try to commit suicide, but in vain. As luck would have it, they save an entrepreneur, Kothari (Satish Shah), from committing suicide, and he asks them to join his business.

Kothari has a problem: His daughters, Madhuri (Ria Sen), Dimple (Sophie Chaudhary) and Rekha (Aarti Chhabria), don’t want to have an arranged marriage. Kothari wants the three guys to woo his daughters and then dump them, so that they realize that love affairs can go wrong as well.

Inorder to carry out the job, the guys fly abroad, court the three sisters and actually fall in love with them. But when they return to India, they suddenly discover a problem in the form of Lucky Bhaiya (Sanjay Dutt), who claims to be a distant relative of the three wives.

In the meanwhile, Kothari wants the guys to stop dating his daughters, but they are in no mood to obey his orders. In fact, they even discuss the issue of a second marriage with their respective wives. The complications, however, multiply.

Kya Love Story Hai is the story of a carefree and wayward youth, Arjun (Tusshar Kapoor), who experiences love-at-first-sight when he sees Kaajal (Ayesha Takia). It isn’t a typical situation - he follows her for some time before succeeding in breaking the ice.

For Kaajal, Arjun is a mere acquaintance, but the latter is in love with her and afraid of conveying his feelings. On befriending her, he learns that she lost her mother years back and that her father was busy traveling abroad on business.

A situation arises when Kaajal comes across a letter that Arjun has written for the girl he loves, but she doesn’t know to whom he is referring. (more…)

Story:

Viren Oberoi (Abhay Deol) believes he’s fallen in love with Karen Fernandes (Apoorva Jha), although he doesn‘t know how to declare his feelings.

In the meantime, his parents decide that he should get married to Aditi (Ayesha Takia).

Aditi and Viren meet but decide not to marry, which results in a fight between their two families. In the meantime Viren manages to tell Karen about his love for her and she reciprocates well. But Viren’s family is not too keen that he gets married to a Christian. (more…)
