Story: Raj (Bobby Deol) and Priya (Kareena) are inseparable lovers. Having decided to spend rest of their lives together, they get married. Things are hunky dory between them until Raj - who is a Polo player - goes to Switzerland to participate in a Polo tournament and takes Priya along. it is in Switzerland a stranger enters in their calm life.

The stranger is Vicky (Akshay) who, along with wife Sonia, is at first Raj’s neighbour but soon becomes their good pal. Together the foursome gambols around in the Alps.

Now Vicky is a bit of a shrewd character. Although he loves Sonia he is also infatuated by his friend Raj’s beautiful wife Priya. He makes a bold offer to Raj to swap wives for a night while the four of them are holidaying in Mauritius. But Raj refuses as he is not as liberal minded to swap his wife with another man. Colonel Ranjit Singh Ranawat (Ajay Devgan) joins hands with ACP Jai (Abhishek Bachchan), who heads the anti-terrorism squad in the rescue mission of the hijacked plane. Five young Pakistani terrorists come to Mumbai for the mission aided by an indian professor, a garage owner. (more…)

The story of Shikhar stems from conflict of two ideologies. On one hand is Gaurav Gupta aka GG (Ajay Devgan), an avaricious, ambitious businessman, who puts money above everything in his life. He has a dream of making a city and he will manipulate people and relationships just to make the chips fall in place to realize his dream.

On the other hand is Guruji (Javed Sheikh), a businessman-turned-social activist, whose motto is to use money for social and environmental good. Caught in between these two ideologies is Guruji’s son Jaidev (Shahid Kapoor), a young man who, while respecting his father’s philosophy, falls prey to GG’s manipulations.

GG takes Jaidev under his wing and the young man goes on to become the boss of a multi-crore company. While Guruji hopes that Jai will return to his roots, GG uses the glamorous Natasha (Bipasha Basu) to bewitch Jai and the unscrupulous politician Patil (Manoj Joshi) to exploit the tribals into selling their lands. Ajay aspires for a job in the police force, which is his ticket to a future of power, respectability, social status and a secure life with his childhood sweetheart Megha (Bipasha Basu). He even raises money to bribe the higher-ups, but in vain. To repay back the loan of Rs. 5 lakh, Ajay decides to kidnap a government official and settle the account.
