Bobby Deol plays a petty thief, Sham who is on the run with a thirty crore diamond. When cops get too close to nab him, he hides the diamond in an under-construction building.

Cops arrest Shaam and put him behind the bars fortwo years. After he is released from the prison, the first thing Sham does is to go back to that construction site where he had hidden the diamond. To his utter shock, he finds out that the building has been converted to a police station.

Shaam now decides to get his hands on the diamond. He enters the police station impersonating as inspector Ram. In the police station, he encounters inspector Ranjita (Bipasha Basu) who falls in love with him without ever suspecting that he is a thief. (more…)

The story is written by Suparn Verma and is inspired by the real-life 1999 Flight IC-814 hijack. A leader of a terrorist outfit Zaheer Khan (Mukesh Tiwari) arrested by the Indian army has to be traded with the lives of the passengers of an Indian Airways flight grounded in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir.

Colonel Ranjit Singh Ranawat (Ajay Devgan) joins hands with ACP Jai (Abhishek Bachchan), who heads the anti-terrorism squad in the rescue mission of the hijacked plane.

Five young Pakistani terrorists come to Mumbai for the mission aided by an Indian professor, a garage owner. (more…)
