Shaadi No 1 tells the story of three couples: Raj /Bhavana (Fardeen & Ayesha), Veer /Diya (Zayed & Esha) and Aryan /Sonia (Sharman & Soha).

The husbands feel that their wives don’t respect them enough since they are worthless. They even try to commit suicide, but in vain. As luck would have it, they save an entrepreneur, Kothari (Satish Shah), from committing suicide, and he asks them to join his business.

Kothari has a problem: His daughters, Madhuri (Ria Sen), Dimple (Sophie Chaudhary) and Rekha (Aarti Chhabria), don’t want to have an arranged marriage. Kothari wants the three guys to woo his daughters and then dump them, so that they realize that love affairs can go wrong as well.

Inorder to carry out the job, the guys fly abroad, court the three sisters and actually fall in love with them. But when they return to India, they suddenly discover a problem in the form of Lucky Bhaiya (Sanjay Dutt), who claims to be a distant relative of the three wives.

In the meanwhile, Kothari wants the guys to stop dating his daughters, but they are in no mood to obey his orders. In fact, they even discuss the issue of a second marriage with their respective wives. The complications, however, multiply.

The story is about three brothers Om (Anil Kapoor), Jai (Fardeen Khan) and Jagdish (Abhishek Bachchan).

Om works for a music company. A simple man who is married to Ayesha (Mahima Chaudhry). Jai on the other hand is a fast moving guy, whose aim is to create the fastest car in the world. Jai loves Neetu and they decice to get married. Jagdish is the youngest and is studying in college. He loves his computer and hacking sites is his favorite pastime.

Things change for the worse when Jai decides to return to the US and Jagdish gets into trouble with the law, when he hacks into the college computer to obtain question papers. In the meantime, Om is going through a rough phase as he is not able to repay the loan that he had borrowed for Jai’s education and his company is taken over by his friend Shekhar Malhotra (Parmeet Sethi).

The brothers have to come together to save the family house from being mortgaged and become a family again.

Story:Arjun (Fardeen Khan) and his friend Rohit (Rohit Roy) want to get rich the easy way. But their latest stunt changes their lives forever. They con the accountant of an underworld don, Sikander (Gulshan Grover), and Rohit is murdered, while Arjun escapes to another city.

Sikander traces Arjun and warns him to return the money that he has stolen and Sikander’s henchman Kaif (Kay Kay) is instructed to follow Arjun like a shadow. While Arjun decides to continue with his act of conning people to raise the amount, a psychiatrist, Natasha (Koena Mitra), enters his life.

More than 30 Indian television channels will broadcast a two-minute movie The Voices of India on 18 July at 6 pm and 9 pm. Its main aim is to show commonality with the fatalities of the serial train blasts that hit Mumbai last week.

It is for the first time that the television channels like DD, Star, Zee, ETV, Janmat, TV 18 network, NDTV, Sony, Times and MTV will gather to air the film.

The Voices of India encapsulates thoughts articulated by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh after visiting the bomb blast victims. Sachin Tendulkar, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Fardeen Khan, Anil Kapoor, Yash Chopra, Preity Zinta, Karan Johar and Nana Patekar also feature in the film. Considered as an operation for India, it is the citizen’s response to the radical attack on Mumbai.
