As the dust settles on the Badshah’s small screen attempt, arc rival in the general entertainment space Zee TV is finally showing some signs of action with the launch of Teen Bahuraaniyaan positioned to occupy the weekly 10.30 pm slot.

Taking on the top rated ’saas bahu’ saga Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi on Star Plus at the given time band, the latest Zee offering will have to work its way up the ladder and spruce up the network’s position in the GEC space.

Set to premiere on 26 March, the new show which is produced by Paresh Rawal and Swaroop Sampat’s Playtime Creations promises to tell the tale of three bahus, from diverse backgrounds living under one roof and against a Gujarati backdrop. (more…)

Abhishek is trying to sleep Pushkar. Shobha enters and starts yelling at Abhishek, since she doesn’t want Pushkar meeting Abhishek. She cools down when she realises that Pushkar is emotionally attatched to her , and lets Abhishek stay the night in ShantiNiketan.

Karan looks at Nandini’s picture. He thinks about Nandini. Tanya enters. Karan thanks Tanya for supporting him, and gives a gift to her.Karan leaves.Kaushalya comes and tells Tanya that she is only a temperory wife for Karan, and Karan actually loves only Nandini.Tanya says that she(kosh) knows nothing about relationships,since she has never valued them. Kosh says that even though she has had 4 husbands, loyalty was her best quality..something which Karan lacks. She calls tanya a makeshift replacement while Nandini isnt around.

Savita tells Shobha to call Payal up and to tell her that she (shobha) will not join politics. Mihir tells Savita to let Shobha decide what she wants to do on her own. Tulsi tells Shobha that she is proud to have a daughter like her. Savita gets angry and goes away. (more…)

Karan walks in the Mehendi ceremony. Everybody is tensed. He comes and touches Tulsi’s feet. Payal is watching this, though she is unaware of Karan true identity. There is loads of drama happening in the mehendi ceremony with regards to Karan and Payal.

Ganga tells Karan not reveal the truth to Payal or Shobha as it can have major setbacks on Shobha. He also should consider this keeping in mind that Shobha is his stepsister. Karan agrees on the grounds of his friendship with Ganga and Saahil.

Payal on the other hand calls Aarti and informs her about Gautam’s wedding. She also inquires about the property papers that she had tried to buy form Gautam. Bhoomi walks off to her room dejected, she is furious she goes to her room and locks herself and sets the room on fire. Meanwhile, in the party Aditya’s mother looks for Bhoomi and she asks Tulsi about her. Tulsi asks KT to look for Bhoomi in her room. KT comes and informs everyone that Bhoomi’s room is on fire.

The family members venture out to rescue her. Everyone is tensed and after some time, Bhoomi gains consciousness and tells everyone that she put the fire herself and that it was not an accident.

Karan is shocked and asks why did she do so on which she tells everyone that she loved Abir and that she was pregnant with his child. Everyone is shocked. Karan slaps her. Tanya supports her. (more…)
