Story: MAX presents Awaara Paagal Deewana- the biggest multistarrer blockbuster of 2002. The movie revolves around a Mafia don (Om Puri), who after his death, leaves behind a will that initiates a war between his son-in-law - Guru Gulab Khatri (Akshay Kumar) and his only son, Vikrant (Rahul Dev).
The will states that diamonds worth crores, lying in a foreign bank have been divided equally between the three and can be collected by personally signing the necessary papers at the bank.
All hell breaks loose as everyone sets out to get their greedy hands on the diamonds, leading to some rib-tickling comical situations. Catch this rip-tickling blockbuster comedy with some non-stop hungama and hit dance numbers only on MAX.

Hera Pheri revolves around three ordinary people - Shyam (Sunil Shetty), Raju (Akshay Kumar) and Bapu Rao (Paresh Rawal). Shyam comes to the city seeking a job in the same bank his father worked in and finds himself competing with Anuradha (Tabu) for it.
He gets accommodation in Rao’s house. Rao is a kind hearted, debt-stricken alcoholic who owns a garage. Raju also happens to stay with Rawal. His mother is under the illusion that he is a wealthy businessman in Calcutta, not realising that her son does odd jobs and stays in the same city of Bombay.
Anuradha, who has to support her ailing mother and siblings, is also struggling to make ends meet. Seeing her plight, Shyam selflessly lets her take up the job he was in line for.

Story: Jeetu (Shahid Kapur) is a small town hustler who is constantly in debt and dodging creditors and moneylenders. His father and his fiancĂ©e Pooja (Sushma Reddy) are made to suffer the consequences of his instability and his debts. Jeetu feels that he is not worthy of Pooja and encourages her to marry someone else, which she doesn’t agree to.
Jeetu tries jumping into the sea, trying to drown himself so that his family gets to claim his life insurance and pay off some of his debts. But he is found entangled in fishing nets by a pair of fishermen Bandya (Paresh Rawal) and Gundya (Rajpal Yadav) who take him home with them.
One of the fishermen, Gundya, owes money to Prabhat Singh Chauhan, a Gujrati businessman. On discovering Jeetu caught like a mermaid in their nets, they read a note in Jeetu’s pocket that leads them to assume that he is a millionaire and they hatch a scheme to give Jeetu’s services to Prabhat Singh Chauhan (Om Puri) in exchange for the money that they owe! As the dust settles on the Badshah’s small screen attempt, arc rival in the general entertainment space Zee TV is finally showing some signs of action with the launch of Teen Bahuraaniyaan positioned to occupy the weekly 10.30 pm slot.
Taking on the top rated ’saas bahu’ saga Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi on Star Plus at the given time band, the latest Zee offering will have to work its way up the ladder and spruce up the network’s position in the GEC space.
Set to premiere on 26 March, the new show which is produced by Paresh Rawal and Swaroop Sampat’s Playtime Creations promises to tell the tale of three bahus, from diverse backgrounds living under one roof and against a Gujarati backdrop. (more…)
