Star India CFO, G Subramaniam has, has put in his papers and is currently serving his notice period. He will be with the organization till the end of this month and is slated to join Reliance Mobile in the later course of time.

He is Chartered accountant by qualification. He joined Stat India as CFO, Digital Platform Group in May 2001. Aforementioned to joining Star, he had worked with the BPL Innovision business group in their telecom ventures, including four years with BPL Mobile, Mumbai as the CFO.

The Key professional has made the third exit after the departure of Puneet Johar and Vidyuth Bhandari, last week. Puneet Johar was Senior Vice president, marketing and Communication; he was associated with marketing initiatives of Kkavyanjali, KBC 2, Prithviraj Chauhan and also National Geographic Channel. While, Vidyuth Bhandari was Associate Vice president, he has currently moved to Adlabs Radio as Interactivity Activation and PR Head.

After launching the serial Dharti Ka Veer Yodha - Prithviraj Chauhan, Star Plus is now releasing the music album of it. The releasing date for the album is 2 june. Times Music and Sagar Arts are the presentators for the album. Well known voices of Roop Kumar Rathod, Sadhna Sargam, Udit Narayan, Suresh Wadkar, Shreya Ghosal, Babul Supriyo have lent their voices to the seven exclusive tracks that the album comprises.

Times Music and Sagar Arts presentation, the music album has a range of soulful music: Oh Vidhaata, Raj Dulare So Jaa, Uttradhikari, Sunn Re Megha, Jai Bholenath, Mitti and Dharti Ka Veer Yodha-Prithviraj Chauhan, all penned by Ravindra Jain, who is also the music director of the album. Music for the title track is given by Gaurav Issar and the lyrics are penned by Dr. Sohan Sharma.

Sagar Films the makers of Ramayana and the more recent Hatim is now coming on Star Plus with another period drama- Prithviraj Chauhan. Based primarily on Chand Bardai’s Prithviraj Rasos, the Sagars present the story of this attractive character for STAR Plus.

Prithviraj Chauhan is one of the most motivating and authoritative characters of Indian history. His name is even today linked with the qualities of Rajput valour, chivalry and patriotism. His courageousness on the battleground was unmatched and he was known to be honorable and ethical until his death.

He was commonly known as the “Warrior King� and was in love with his enemy’s daughter Sanyogita. He rode off with her on the day of her swayamvar before the attentive eye of her father. His story highlights all the significant aspects of life-duty, gallantry, nationalism, friendship, family and romance.

The series will be divided into five phases, and will trace the life of Prithviraj right from his birth until his death. The series is set in the 11th century but will set up a more modern look with respect to the management of the costumes, production design and language, while staying true to the original story. It will maintain a fine balance between the genuine and the fashionable.
