Shaadi No 1 tells the story of three couples: Raj /Bhavana (Fardeen & Ayesha), Veer /Diya (Zayed & Esha) and Aryan /Sonia (Sharman & Soha).
The husbands feel that their wives don’t respect them enough since they are worthless. They even try to commit suicide, but in vain. As luck would have it, they save an entrepreneur, Kothari (Satish Shah), from committing suicide, and he asks them to join his business.
Kothari has a problem: His daughters, Madhuri (Ria Sen), Dimple (Sophie Chaudhary) and Rekha (Aarti Chhabria), don’t want to have an arranged marriage. Kothari wants the three guys to woo his daughters and then dump them, so that they realize that love affairs can go wrong as well.
Inorder to carry out the job, the guys fly abroad, court the three sisters and actually fall in love with them. But when they return to India, they suddenly discover a problem in the form of Lucky Bhaiya (Sanjay Dutt), who claims to be a distant relative of the three wives.
In the meanwhile, Kothari wants the guys to stop dating his daughters, but they are in no mood to obey his orders. In fact, they even discuss the issue of a second marriage with their respective wives. The complications, however, multiply.

Two college students Bantu (Sharman Joshi) and Chantu (Sahil Khan) stands out in the college for their ability to outfox others.
College is just another amusement park for them. They play truant and are admired for their expertise in ragging and playing pranks.

Owing to a lack of funds, she recruits students from Delhi University to act in her docu-drama. She finds DJ (Aamir Khan), who passed out five years back but still wants to be a part of the University because he doesn’t think there’s too much out there in the real world to look forward to.
Karan (Siddharth), the son of Industrialist Rajnath Singhania, who shares an uncomfortable relationship with his father, but continues to live off him, albeit very grudgingly. But it’s not an easy ride for Chantu and Bantu, as they encounter the hotel manager [Saurabh Shukla], the housekeeping department head [Mushtaq Khan], who robs the guests of their valuable belongings, a fraud who claims to be the Maharani of Janakpur [Shashi Sharma] and the two owners of the hotel, who are absolute weirdos.
